Did you know stem cells can be gathered from ethical sources? The afterbirth or Placentia is just one of these no-kill sources. But why is this so important? Just watch this following movie…

Now I propose that the rabbit hole goes even deeper – what if we could create engineered organs? Now organs that have complex functions like the lung and the liver are hard to create – but what about the human heart?

The heart is basically a series of muscle tendons and membranes that form chambers and valves -the valves are basically cartilage and the rest is run of the mill muscle and membranes.

Presently scientists are trying to clone whole organs (as seen below) – but what if the answer was more simple?

I propose that the the best way to achieve a usable “cultured” human organ – especially the heart – is to grow the muscle, valves, and assemble it following an “architecture” resembling the current organ.

Scientists have been creating cultured meat for years…

We could group the muscle in bundles – shaped in chambers – connected by the “stem cell membrane” and run electrical nano wires to stimulate the chambers controlled by a small implanted pacemaker unit.

We could encase the in the stem cell generated membrane (see the skin movie) and this lab created unit would not be subject to rejection as a human to human transplant. Therefore rejection would not be a factor and damaging immune suppression therapy would be a thing of the past.

Now you might cringe at this thought, but until your life is touched by this topic you could never understand. If anyone out there can make this happen I would gladly submit this idea to the great conversation for discussion and research.

Sigh – I wish I had billions to make this stuff happen.

So I am about to take a journey into the spiritual side of Technology – so prepare yourselves for what I see in this 1987 demo of Apple’s concept “Knowledge Navigator”.

Many people have said that Mr. Jobs’ approach to innovation was nothing short of ‘magical’ and ‘visionary’ I would like to point out that Steve Jobs was a very spiritual man, who on many occasions accredited his novel approach to technology to his unique experiences with mind altering substances like Acid – popular in the era in which Apple computers was founded.

Many have credited these supernatural experiences with a lingering knowingness, inner guidance, and connection to the divine. An apple is the symbol of Knowledge – such as Eve and the garden of eden. It is also a symbol of release from bondage – or enlightenment. As you can see in the below clip – Steve’s vision was that of a computer for all – meaning knowledge for all.

Now, most of us do not realize that the iOS devices – are indeed “Personal Computers”…they are just not officially recognized as such. If they were – Apple would truly be pronounced the market share leader in the PC market.

The connection I am trying to make here is that ever since humans evolved consciousness we have struggled to understand the meaning of life (referred to as suffering in Buddhism) which coincides with the Apple reference (representing the gaining of consciousness).

The above, combined with many metaphysical circles often stating that we are on a path toward a “singularity of consciousness” take 2012 in Mayan belief and the “golden age” in Christianity. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Steves gift to the world was the closest thing we could have to a collective consciousness, and by far the most even access to this wealth of knowledge?

Look for a moment to see if you see what I do in this film…

So lets truly examine:

1. Steve passed on a Wednesday, October 5th 2011 – the day that this film is set is September – in 2011…also a Wednesday.

2. This demo showed a voice driven technology – on a tablet device…Siri – Apples new voice technology was launched one day before his passing, also in 2011

*the remainder of these points are my metaphysical interpretations*

3. The film ends with “Professor Bradford” stepping out for the moment – having to pick up a Birthday cake – and setting up an appointment to set up a meting tomorrow morning with “Tom Lee”.

- I see this as either a death (opposite of birth) reference – ((he passed the day after Siris launch – (tomorrow)) or the birthday part could possibly be a reincarnation reference… indicating that his soul may have some further purpose on this plain.

4. And Finally the catchphrase at the end of the film said: “The power to be your best”… which summarized the completion of his lifes work.

So now, if I ever question life’s purpose and what we can expect in the afterlife… I have one of my personal heroes to thank for what is in my opinion the greatest gift: the validation of my own spiritual beliefs.

So now that Knowledge Navigator came to fruition, I can only hope it leads to something like this:

Singularity anyone?

Thank you Steve.

I will leave you with my favorite movie scene of all time.

When tragedy strikes, it seems that all I know how to do is write about my feelings, in this case we are talking about not only one of my personal heroes, but also a man who literally shaped the direction of technology indefinitely.

What I admire about Mr. Jobs is that he was quite possibly one of the most powerful people in tech – but he was remarkably down to earth in his demeanor. Granted, when it came to business he was unwavering in his pursuit of perfection, but the products that he produced were nothing short of incredible.

This is a man who literally invented the PC – but saw his company pushed to the brink of collapse yet was able to orchestrate one of the most supernatural turnarounds in history.

I take solace in the fact that Mr. Jobs was a Zen Buddhist – and based on the magic he was able to create in the world – I am compelled to say that his accomplishments are as close to Nirvana as I can imagine possible on this earthly plain.

I will end with a quote from the Buddah…

Even death is not to be feared by one who has lived wisely.
Buddha

Rest in Peace.

Sometimes I wish people could see the world through my eyes, to perceive and feel exactly what I feel. I know that much of the hatred in this world today is either through instinct or in self defense. When you feel like your back is against the wall it can be easy to ignore others emotions or be irrational in your attacks on others.

I am reminded of high school, where the pecking order was determined by how cruel one could be to someone less agressive, or some how disadvantaged in some way, be it socio-economic or socially awkward. Sometimes I wonder if this will ever go away, or is it some natural instinct, that no matter how hard we try we will never overcome. Like a pack mentality where one feels the need to establish authority or dominance over someone else.

I like to think that this plain is just a lesson, and we are on the verge of a mass awakening or evolutionary event horizon. I still hold out faith that this is the case, but I often times find myself examining a far more cynical approach to existence. And believe me, I still know with all my heart that only love is real, and that people are inherently good…but I also need to do a self check to recognize the vibration that I myself am giving off. Am I somehow attracting negativity into my life? Or and I simply more aware of it because it is how I feel?

Or perhaps I am looking at it all wrong, and that people challenge those who they perceive as a threat and somehow need to re-establish dominance? Perhaps the ultimate way to correct the negative energy in my life is to neutralize it…by feeling somehow validated? I will never understand the human psyche…not in a million years. But one quiet evening watching the discovery channel, and one quickly realizes that in a pack the challenger is the one that receives the majority of the agression…and only makes them stronger.
