Steve Jobs – a TRUE visionary.

So I am about to take a journey into the spiritual side of Technology – so prepare yourselves for what I see in this 1987 demo of Apple’s concept “Knowledge Navigator”.

Many people have said that Mr. Jobs’ approach to innovation was nothing short of ‘magical’ and ‘visionary’ I would like to point out that Steve Jobs was a very spiritual man, who on many occasions accredited his novel approach to technology to his unique experiences with mind altering substances like Acid – popular in the era in which Apple computers was founded.

Many have credited these supernatural experiences with a lingering knowingness, inner guidance, and connection to the divine. An apple is the symbol of Knowledge – such as Eve and the garden of eden. It is also a symbol of release from bondage – or enlightenment. As you can see in the below clip – Steve’s vision was that of a computer for all – meaning knowledge for all.

Now, most of us do not realize that the iOS devices – are indeed “Personal Computers”…they are just not officially recognized as such. If they were – Apple would truly be pronounced the market share leader in the PC market.

The connection I am trying to make here is that ever since humans evolved consciousness we have struggled to understand the meaning of life (referred to as suffering in Buddhism) which coincides with the Apple reference (representing the gaining of consciousness).

The above, combined with many metaphysical circles often stating that we are on a path toward a “singularity of consciousness” take 2012 in Mayan belief and the “golden age” in Christianity. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Steves gift to the world was the closest thing we could have to a collective consciousness, and by far the most even access to this wealth of knowledge?

Look for a moment to see if you see what I do in this film…

So lets truly examine:

1. Steve passed on a Wednesday, October 5th 2011 – the day that this film is set is September – in 2011…also a Wednesday.

2. This demo showed a voice driven technology – on a tablet device…Siri – Apples new voice technology was launched one day before his passing, also in 2011

*the remainder of these points are my metaphysical interpretations*

3. The film ends with “Professor Bradford” stepping out for the moment – having to pick up a Birthday cake – and setting up an appointment to set up a meting tomorrow morning with “Tom Lee”.

- I see this as either a death (opposite of birth) reference – ((he passed the day after Siris launch – (tomorrow)) or the birthday part could possibly be a reincarnation reference… indicating that his soul may have some further purpose on this plain.

4. And Finally the catchphrase at the end of the film said: “The power to be your best”… which summarized the completion of his lifes work.

So now, if I ever question life’s purpose and what we can expect in the afterlife… I have one of my personal heroes to thank for what is in my opinion the greatest gift: the validation of my own spiritual beliefs.

So now that Knowledge Navigator came to fruition, I can only hope it leads to something like this:

Singularity anyone?

Thank you Steve.

I will leave you with my favorite movie scene of all time.
